Jennifer is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who brings over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both public and private practice. Using a non-judgmental, strengths-based approach, Jennifer is dedicated to supporting clients through life’s challenges with encouragement, compassion, and a healthy dose of humor.
Before entering the mental health field, Jennifer taught at Sundling Junior High School for five years and later focused on raising her three children. During that time, she remained active professionally as a speaker, teacher, writer, and personal development coach. She also supported parents by providing education about the developmental stages of their children.
Clients often describe Jennifer as relatable and calming. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. She puts her clients first, walking alongside them as they set meaningful goals, recognize their resilience, and work toward positive change. She leads with warmth and sensitivity, encouraging people to recognize their strengths and embrace their purpose. Jennifer also welcomes clients who are interested in incorporating spirituality or faith-based perspectives into their sessions.
Jennifer earned her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University, where she gained valuable experience working with students, families, and individuals of all ages. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University, a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Education from National-Louis University, and a Life & Leadership Coaching credential from the International Coach Federation.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys quiet moments (introverts of the world unite—in separate rooms!), reading, staying active, solving puzzles, and listening to comedy podcasts. She loves gathering with friends over a good meal—especially when someone else is cooking.
