Grace joins Trisha Johnson Therapy Group as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapy and a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families. Her approach is collaborative and rooted in cognitive behavioral practices, with a focus on helping clients navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, OCD, and behavioral concerns.
Grace has trained extensively at Rogers Behavioral Health, where she conducted individual and group therapy, provided crisis intervention, and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to support clients with complex mental health needs. She also has hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy through her work at Apex Pediatric Therapy, supporting children and adolescents on the autism spectrum.
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University, a CACREP-accredited program, and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois University. Grace is currently completing coursework toward certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), reflecting her continued commitment to professional growth.
Grace is a member of the American Counseling Association, the National Board of Certified Counselors, and several academic honor societies. Known for her strong advocacy skills and calm, supportive presence, Grace is dedicated to helping clients build coping tools and confidence as they work toward lasting change.
Outside of the office, Grace enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new ways to stay grounded and inspired, and indulging in her passion for travel and reading. Whether it’s discovering new destinations or immersing herself in a good book, Grace finds both adventure and relaxation in these pursuits, constantly enriching her life and broadening her perspectives.
